Such a fuss over horse meat is a smoke screen to divert people from the real news of social cleansing starting April in Camden, London!

Distrust and paranoia among faders
by cedars inhi guys.
i'm interested in knowing whether any other faders out there ever find themselves feeling a little paranoid about establishing contact with other faders or former jws, just in case the unthinkable happens and things turn sour.. personally, i'm now fairly comfortable with the idea that i will be disfellowshipped or disassociated within the next year or so.
i see it as inevitable, and an essential transition in order to do what i want to do with my life.

I still have not had my first encounter with a witness even though I have not been to a meeting for 4 years.
The thought of meeting some-one I used to know leaves me very anxious.

I wasn't expecting anything.
I didn't get a present or any cards for my last birthday either so I am cancelling all future ones. It hurts too much.

A Few Questions and Hoping for an Answer
by Gojira_101 insince i am still fairly new to this whole "apostate thing" and have only been on jwn for about a month, i have questions for those of you who have been "out" for awhile or have been on here for a long time.. .
i have seen how many new people have joined since i joined, is that something that happens a lot?
having so many people sign up on here?

In 1951 social psychologist Solomon Asch devised an experiment to examine the extent to which pressure from other people could affect one's perceptions.
In total, about one third of the subjects who were placed in this situation went along with the clearly erroneous majority.
I believe the GB are aware that sheeple follow the majority and are deliberately testing the flock to see how far they can go.

The ransom sacrifice contradicts the "issue of universal sovereignty"
by yadda yadda 2 inif jesus is the exact representation of his heavenly father, and if "god is love", and if there is no greater love than to give up one's own life for others, then if jesus gave up his life for mankind as the greatest act of love ever performed, why would jehovah be more concerned about his own name being vindicated and his rule being proven to be superior to man's rule than preventing untold millions of innocent persons over thousands of years from suffering and dying horribly?.
wouldn't jehovah be just like his son, jesus, and choose to sacrifice his own name and reputation out of his great love for mankind rather than permit so much suffering for thousands of years?
why would the almighty creator of the universe care so much about being 'slandered' by a rebellious spirit creature that he would have to permit so much suffering for so long?

Jesus didn't surrender his life though.
According to the Bible he existed before humans in heaven. After a few thousnd years after man had gone bad he came down here for a short while and then went back up again to where he is living now. He has his original life back.
As some-one once said. He came down, had a pretty sh*t weekend but he is now back home with Daddy where he belongs and all is good again for him!
I know humans and animals that have suffered more and for longer and not by choice either.

A couple from my old UK congregation got engaged.
He was an MS and she was a single Mum and not very regular at the hall even though her father and brother were both elders. Her son's were grown and not witnesses but usually turned up at BBQs if the rest of the family were there and usually got love bombed.
She broke off the engagement and he would come to me in the evenings and vent his anger and frustration at the fact she was never disciplined for breaking it off.
I felt she had a lucky escape.
